Business Rates
Deferral of Rates Liabilities in 2009/10
On 31 March 2009 the Government announced that it will introduce legislation to allow businesses to defer part of the increase in their 2009/10 business rate bills until 2010/11 and 2011/12.
The Government has issued a Fact Sheet outlining the legislation that is to be introduced.
