Food Labelling and Composition
Officers undertake routine food standard inspections of food businesses within the Borough and investigate enquiries from Trafford residents or other local authorities.
Sampling programmes are also undertaken to ensure food meets labelling and compositional requirements and comply with the legal requirements.
The Food Labelling Regulations 1996
