The terrier section maintains map and paper records of all land and buildings owned by the Council. We provide advice on the following topics:

• Privately-owned property
• Highway ownership
• Boundary disputes

Please note, the service which you are seeking from the Council may be available whether or not the land or building is actually owned by the Council.

For example, dealing with Abandoned Vehicles, Fly-tipping, Dangerous Structures, etc. In order for your request to be dealt with more directly by the Council, please reconsider whether the ownership of the land is critical to your enquiry.
