Tenders and Contracts
Trafford Council wants to ensure it does business with a strong list of good suppliers to help it deliver quality works and services to local residents. Currently, the Council spends around £140 million each year on business with external suppliers, and it is important this expenditure represents good value for money.
The Council's Corporate Procurement Service Team provides general advice about working as a supplier for the Council. Its staff also let many contracts. Prospective suppliers seeking further details about how the Council operates in relation to outside suppliers can contact members of the team for an informal chat. Staff will be happy to explain processes in more detail, answering any questions you may have.
Many contracts are also let by individual services within the Council, and contact details are held on the corporate contracts register.
