This ceremony is designed for couples who wish to celebrate a special anniversary or event in their married life and provides the perfect opportunity to bring friends and family together to share in the occasion.

It can also be a way of renewing promises for couples who have been through a difficult time in their relationship.

Couples who have been married abroad may also wish to renew their vows in a ceremony held in the presence of family or friends who were not present at the actual wedding ceremony.

The ceremony may be held at Sale Town Hall or at one of the outside venues in Trafford.

Please note that this is a civil ceremony. People who wish to have a religious blessing should contact their local church. The ceremony has no legal effect and is not legally binding on the participants.

Our celebrant will show you a sample ceremony and will give you advice about how music and readings may be used to the best advantage as part of the ceremony.

Photographs may be taken at the beginning and at the end of the ceremony and provision can also be made for one of your guests to video the occasion.

You may wish to ask special friends or members of the family to play a part in the ceremony by giving readings or speeches and you can also mark the occasion by giving or rededicating wedding or eternity rings.

Mention may be made in the ceremony about people who have played a special part in your married life and you may wish to acknowledge how important your children have been in your lives. Live music and singing can also be included in the ceremony. At the end of the ceremony you will be presented with a commemorative certificate, which you and your witnesses will sign.

The length of the ceremony will depend on the options you have chosen and the other enhancements you wish to include. We can also arrange a very private ceremony for couples who want to mark the occasion in their own quiet way.
