Mayor of Trafford Councillor Jane Baugh and her Consort Dr Peter Baugh have chosen Parkinson's UK, The Stroke Association, The Trafford Stroke Support Group and the League of Friends of Altrincham General Hospital as their Mayoral charities and will be organising and leading fund raising events to support these very deserving local charities.
Friday 10 February: ‘Quiz Night’ with quiz masters, the Battman Brothers, at the Railway Club, Navigation Road. 7.30pm. Tickets £5. Pay at the door.
Saturday 11 February: Open day Sale Town Hall, 11am -3pm. Talks by Pat Coulburn on the history of the Town Hall, 11.30am and 1.30 pm. Meet the Mayor in the Mayor’s Parlour. Raffle and Tombola prizes for fund raising for the Mayoral charities. More details to follow.
