Learner support
Are there issues which are preventing you from learning? We may be able to help you:
- Most family learning courses and some adult courses come with creche provision.
- Where appropriate we may be able to provide language support and will consider translations into other community languages.
- Our courses take place in accessible locations and wherever possible we will give tutors additional class support or specialist facilities. If necessary a group can be moved to a more user-friendly venue.
- We can provide paperwork in Braille or community languages or provide any additional equipment you may require.
- If you have a disability we will make reasonable adjustments to help you succeed in your learning such as provide a signer in your class or a portable hearing loop.
- Adults with learning difficulties are welcome to all our courses and can call on a learning mentor or support worker if needed.
