Conservation

In the Conservation section:

  • Conservation Areas
    There are 21 declared conservation areas throughout Trafford, each reflecting the variety of building styles and environments exhibited within its borders.
  • Countryside Conservation
    The Mersey Valley Countryside Warden Service is responsible for nearly 40 areas of countryside along the River Mersey.
  • Listed Buildings Register
    A listed building is a building, object or structure that has been judged to be of national importance in terms of architectural or historic interest.
  • Tree Management
    Our Tree Management Unit are responsible for the management, inspection and maintenance of all council owned trees through out the borough.
