There are two household waste disposal sites (tips) in Trafford, all with full recycling facilities. They are located in:

Opening Hours
The opening hours for both centres are, 8am - 8pm.
During Autumn and Winter the centres close at 6pm.
What can I recycle at the centres?
The following items can be recycled at these centres:
- Paper
- Glass
- Cans
- Green Waste
- Batteries
- Waste Oil
- Scrap Metal
- Textiles
- Books (only at Sinderland Road)
- Fridges/Freezers
- Cardboard
These sites are also for the disposal of non-recyclable household items.

Yes. If there any issues at our disposal sites, please report the problem online
Recycle your Green Waste at our Centres
Help us improve your environment by recycling your green waste. Recycle your green household waste (garden trimmings, soil, prunings, grass cuttings etc.) at your local household waste recycling centre.
Please do not place plastic bags full of green waste into the collection bays or your green bin, or contaminate the green waste with other materials. At our disposal sites, separate other materials into the main tipping area before emptying green waste into the special collection bays.
