Housing Options
Trafford Housing Trust Housing Options Service offers advice and assistance on housing and housing related issues such as:
- Housing advice
- Mortgage arrears
- Mortgage repossession
- Rent arrears
- Rent repossession
- Problems with debts
- Disrepair
- Rent deposit advice
The service is free, impartial and confidential. Interviews will be conducted in private interview rooms and where necessary a same sex officer will be available to offer advice. The Housing Options Service is able to offer interpreters and signers and a minicom service is available.
The first time you attend Housing Options for an interview you will be required to complete a Customer Information Sheet. Click Here to download the form to fill in and bring with you.
Sub Regional Choice Based Lettings
Pinpoint is a Choice Based lettings service which provides access to social housing across the whole of Greater Manchester. It will provide more choice in selecting a home and offers you greater opportunity in deciding where you want to live. Pinpoint is a partnership between the 9 Greater Manchester Local Authorities including Trafford Council and 13 Housing Associations.
You will be required to register once with one of the partners and this registration enables access to Pinpoint properties across Greater Manchester, you will not have to register with every Local Authority. You can still express interest in properties in your local scheme; expressing interest in Pinpoint properties gives you an additional choice. Available properties are advertised on the Pinpoint website.
