The Trafford Rent and Bond Scheme (TRABS) was set up assist those who are looking for accommodation in the private rented sector within Trafford.

How TRABS can help you

• TRABS can offer financial assistance towards the first month's rent in advance
• TRABS can also offer financial assistance towards the deposit
• You will be provided with support from Housing Options whilst you are looking for a home and during your tenancy
• Housing Options will liaise with your landlord and the Housing Benefit's Department on your behalf
• We will also be able to refer you to tenancy support for further assistance if needed.

If...

• you are over the age of 18 years
• homeless or going to become homeless
• on a low income and or in receipt of housing benefits
• have no means of providing a rental deposit
• have lived in Trafford for at least the last 6 months
• are looking for somewhere to rent in Trafford

...then the Trafford Rent and Bond Scheme may be able to help you.

If you don't meet ALL the above then you will not be eligible for this type of help.
