Corporate Equality Action Plan

This plan sets out our plans for mainstreaming equality work in employment and service delivery.

The Equality Action Plan illustrates in detail, how we ensure active leadership and community involvement in the delivery of our equality agenda across the organization and to the wider community.

Trafford Council Equality Schemes

The Action Plan also shows how we are meeting equality legislation including the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and the Equality Act 2006.

  • Improve recruitment of BME, disabled and young employees
  • Continue Equalities Training for all staff
  • Disability Awareness Training for all staff
  • Accessibility Audits/Assessments & Meeting Standards for Disability
