Self-service machines

Coppice Library has two new self-service machines which you will find easy to use. You can use the machines to:

  • Take out items
  • Return items
  • Renew items
  • Pay library charges
  • Look at your borrower account

The Self-service machines have a touch screen and clear instructions on each screen. Staff will be available to provide any help needed with using the machines.

What's on

  • Rhymetime for under 5s every Wednesday 11 - 11:30am
  • Storytime and activities for under 5s every Tuesday at 2.15pm and Friday, 10:15am - 11am
  • We have three Readers' Group. Group 1 meets on the first Monday of the month. Group 2, Killer-Thrillers @ Coppice meets on the second Thursday of the month. Group 3 meets on the last Wednesday of the month.
  • Chatterbooks Readers' Group for 7 to 10 year olds meets on the third Thursday of each month from 4-4.45pm
  • Chatterbooks Readers' Group 2 for 7 to 10 year olds meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 4-4.45pm
  • Silver Surfers sessions are available throughout the week, these are bookable at the library
  • Regular themed coffee mornings
  • Regular themed displays

Items which are not in stock at Coppice Avenue Library but are available from another Trafford library can be requested free of charge.
