Leisure and Sport Passes

Trafford now has a fantastic new dynamic leisure pass scheme - Active Trafford. The new Active Trafford scheme replaces the old existing leisure pass and now gives residents of Trafford a huge amount of leisure options and provision.

Active Trafford is made up of two parts, a Concessionary Pass and a Referral Pass. The concessionary pass provides needy groups with increased provision to get involved in a wide array of physical activity. The referral pass provides a kick start from a number of referring agents for a whole host of people who are in need of exercise and would benefit most.

The Council's leisure strategy identifies as one of its main objectives the removal of barriers to participation and the improvement of access to sport and leisure. Through this objective the Council and Trafford Community Leisure Trust provide a comprehensive leisure pass scheme - Active Trafford, which addresses the needs of specific groups as identified by the council and the Trust.

Only Trafford residents holding an Active Trafford pass will be eligible for concessionary charges at participating leisure facilities. You will only be eligible for An Active Trafford Pass if you fall into the set criteria. To obtain an Active Trafford Pass just call into your local facility and collect an application form or you can download one from the concessionary pass page.
