School Crossing Patrols

School crossing patrols ensure the travel to and from school, for local children, is as safe as possible.

How do you decide where to place a School Crossing Patrol?

School Crossing Patrols are provided where children are in danger from road traffic when walking to and from school. This is not necessarily directly outside a school but could be anywhere on a direct route.

Can I request a School Crossing Patrol?

Requests for additional school crossing patrols usually come through the appropriate school's head teacher. If you feel that an additional patrol is required you should initially raise this with your child's school.
