When intending to demolish a building, notice must be given to the Local Authority at least six weeks prior to work commencing.

You need to submit a letter of intent which states the location of the building together with a location plan of the building and adjoining streets.

The Council makes a fixed charge of £184 for the provision of this service. Please enclose a cheque for this amount with you letter and location plan. If a cheque is not enclosed with the application an invoice for this amount will be sent out.
