Our walking journey planner is a really useful tool that anyone can use to plan a journey. It covers the whole borough and you can simply input your starting point, such as your home postcode, and your destination, such as Trafford Town Hall.
The site will generate a route with a map and directions and you can choose whether you want a direct route or a quieter option that might take you through parks or green spaces. It will even calculate the distance you walk, the number of calories you’ll burn and how much CO2 you could save.
The site has loads of other features, such as plotting your favourite walks to share with other people or generating circular walks, which are really useful if you want to take a stroll during your lunch break.
