Access by Car

The A56 is the closest major road to the Market and is linked to the M56 Junction 7, M6 and Manchester Airport to the west and the M60 to the east.

There are a number of town centre car parks and on street parking bays in Altrincham and near to the Market.

Currently, there is free parking after 3pm MONDAY-FRIDAY and ALL DAY SUNDAY in Council owned car parks and on street parking bays.

Car Parks

The nearest car park to the Market is the council owned ground level Regent Road Pay and Display car park (entrance on New Street just off Regent Road), WA14 1RY. This is highlighted on the map along with all other town centre car parks.

The other closest car park to the Market is the multi storey Stamford Quarter car park accessed from High Street off Market Street. This car park has 24 hour security, lift and stair access directly onto pedestrianised George Street which is a short walk to the Market.
