Altrincham Market is happy to hold a growing number of events throughout the year. Seasonal festivities for Easter, St George's Day and
Christmas to name but a few are woven into the traditional weekly markets with stallholders taking a keen interest in proceedings. Regular monthly
markets also take place on the first Friday and the third Sunday of the month and more details are given below.
The Market plays host to visiting specialist Fairs and Festivals which have included the well respected 'Audacious Herbaceous'
Plant Fairs, a variety of Continental Markets, the annual 'Taste of Trafford' Food and Drink Festival and the 'Altrincham Beer and Cask Festival'.

Altrincham Farmers' Market:
The next Farmers' Market will be held on Friday 5th July 2013
A small select band of Farmers / Food Producers join our regular stallholders every 1st Friday of the month between 8.00am - 2.00pm.
Just to whet your appetite there will be Home grown Seasonal Veg, Black Welsh Beef, Rossendale Lamb, Free Range Eggs, Homemade Sweet and Savoury
Pies, Fresh Fish and Seafood, Cheese and Dairy, Preserves and Artisan Breads.
Don't forget to check out the Lower Market opposite M&S side entrance for White's Fruit and Veg. Mark offers a great variety of Seasonal

Altincham Vintage, Handmade & Producers' Market:
The next Vintage, Handmade & Producers' Market will be held on 21st July 2013, 18th August 2013, 15th September 2013, 20th October 2013
To complement the increasing number of businesses open in Altrincham on Sunday a monthly Producers Market will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month
between 11am and 3.30pm. The market features some of the finest food producers and craftmakers from the North West.
Food fanatics will be treated to an outstanding choice of locally-sourced food and drink from the North West's top producers including:
- Free-range chicken, beef, pork and lamb
- Local fruit, vegetables, plants and herbs
- Regional cheeses, butter, organic free-range eggs and apple juice
- Artisan cakes, puddings, breads and pastries
- Pâté and restaurant quality pre-prepared meals
- Hand Crafted chocolates by master chocolatiers
- Jams, pickles and preserves
- Locally brewed beers
Visitors to the market will have the chance to meet the producers and try before they buy.

Altrincham Christmas 2012

We are celebrating what is best about our town centre and making shopping trips local and fun - so if you want shops with a difference; a market

Christmas Extra Vintage Market:
Altrincham is now hosting a Vintage & Craft Market alongside its already-successful Producers' Market, with the next one taking place on
Sunday 18th November & 2nd December 2012. The market runs from 11am - 3.30pm in the town's historic covered market on Greenwood Street and sees
traders selling vintage clothing, textiles, homewares, up cycled items and locally produced crafts with a vintage or retro flavour.

Le Marche de France has been invited to come and visit ALTRINCHAM MARKET on Saturday 23rd June joining the TRADITIONAL MARKET STALLHOLDERS in
celebrating the start of National Market Fortnight.
There will be a magnificent cheese stall with a truly enormous selection of French cheeses. Bread will be baked on site, in front of visitors, on the
NEW BREAD & PATISSERIE STALL and the smell of bread, croissants and patisseries will fill the air. Delicious Charcuterie with wonderful sausages,
smoked ham, olives, and Calvados pate. Pure butter, homemade biscuits, cakes and ginger bread, Mustards, sauces and, of course, garlic will be on offer as
well! For those with a sweet tooth, wonderful natural honeys as well as Turkish Delight will be on display along with a sweet stall making fresh
pralines with almonds and cashews on site.
And for those who like South of France, they will find soaps from Marseille, lavenders, tablecloths from Provence..
Plant Fairs Market:
The Audacious Herbaceous Plant Fairs are back at Altrincham Market on Saturday 9th June 2012 betweeen 10.00am - 4.00pm.
Each Fair will be attended by a number of specialist nurseries and local growers, so visiting gardeners can be confident in the quality of the
plants on offer and the advice and information available. Got a challenging spot in your garden? Dry shade or damp and windy ? Talk it over with the
experts who will endeavour to find you a variety of suitable plants or that little treasure you just can't resist.
As well as familiar and favourite specimens each nursery has it's own specialism which means you will find unusual plants and varieties too. So whether
your gardening passion is for flowers, fruit and veg or gardening for wildlife the Altrincham Market Plant Fairs will have the perfect plants for you.

The Jubilee Altrincham Market:
Family fun this Jubilee weekend at Altrincham's Saturday Market with 'Balloonimals' balloon modelling with a red,white and blue theme and
'Rubbish Revamped' craft workshops using recycled materials to make button bracelets or party bunting. Activities will take place between 1pm and 3pm which
gives you plenty of time to explore the rest of the market, discover great stalls and stock up for the holiday.
St Georges Market
A feast of entertainment for everyone on Altrincham Market
- Drama Club Lights! Camera! Action! are putting on a show with TEAM V, but you can join in! There will be some short scenes from Alice
in Wonderland and Noah’s Ark, as well as the opportunity to travel on a ‘boat’ around the market. What an exciting adventure.
