Self-service machine
Urmston Library has a new self-service machine which you will find easy to use. You can use the machine to:
- Take out items
- Return items
- Renew items
- Pay library charges
- Look at your borrower account
The self-service machine has a touch screen and clear instructions on each screen. Staff will be available to provide any help needed with using it.
What's on
Monday
- A coffee morning is held on the first Monday of every month 10am - 12 noon. On Monday 1 February Heidi from Money Made Clear will be giving advice about money matters.
Tuesday
- Rhymetime every Tuesday afternoon at 2pm
- Community Police contact every Tuesday 2.30pm
- Macmillan advice sessions on the second Tuesday of the month 11am - 1.00pm
Wednesday
- Storytime for under 5s every Wednesday at 2.15pm
- Job Centre appointments each Wednesday 9am - 4.30pm
Thursday
- Two Readers Groups meet each month
- Welfare Rights sessions every Thursday afternoon - appointment only
- Housing Benefits Liaison sessions Thursday 1.00 - 4.30pm
- Councillor's surgery alternate Thursdays from 2.00 - 3.00pm
Friday
- CAB information sessions 2nd Friday of the month, 9.30am - 12.30pm

Items which are not in stock at Urmston Library but are available from another Trafford library can be requested free of charge.
