Timperley Library is an excellent amenity for Timperley village, and is situated a few hundred yards from the traffic lights at the junction of Thorley Lane/Park Road with Stockport Road. There is a spacious and cheerful children's library.
Self-service machines
Timperley Library has two new self-service machines which you will find easy to use. You can use the machines to:
- Take out items
- Return items
- Renew items
- Pay library charges
- Look at your borrower account
The self-service machines have touch screens and clear instructions on each screen. Staff will be available to provide any help needed with using the machines.
What's on
- Storytime for under 5s is every Monday at 2.30pm
- Rhymetime every Tuesday at 2pm and Thursday at 9.30am
- A Readers' Group meets every month

Items which are not in stock at Timperley Library but are available from another Trafford library can be requested free of charge.
