Old Trafford Centre provides a library, a community centre and an Access Trafford office, all housed within a recently refurbished building.

Self-service machine

Old Trafford Library has a new self-service machine which you will find easy to use. You can use the machine to:

  • Take out items
  • Return items
  • Renew items
  • Pay library charges
  • Look at your borrower account

The self-service machine has a touch screen and clear instructions on each screen. Staff will be available to provide any help needed with using it.

Old Trafford Library has the following stock available for loan:

  • Hardback and paperback fiction, including bestsellers and contemporary novels
  • Non-fiction books ranging from popular interest topics to more academic subjects

  • Talking Books on cassette and CD, foreign language tapes and CDs

For 14+

  • A wide range of materials chosen to appeal to this age group

For Children

  • Stories for all ages from the youngest up to 13+
  • Junior non-fiction
  • Talking Books

Items which are not in stock at Old Trafford Library but are available from another Trafford library can be requested free of charge.
