As part of Trafford Council’s engagement process, Neighbourhood Forums take place in Trafford’s localities. These can be used to gauge resident’s opinions on changes to service provision, such as refuse collections or may tell you about new plans for your neighbourhood from partners such as the building of a new factory.  To find out if there is a Neighbourhood Forum taking place in your area, check the local press or use the contact details on the right hand side of this page.

How do the forums work?

  1. Registration and Refreshments (check exact start times for individual forums)

  2. Discussion Forum (check exact start times for individual forums)

The Discussion Forum is a public meeting usually chaired by one of your local councillors and gives you an opportunity to hear about things happening in your area.

  • You can hear a presentation about a local issue followed by a question and answer session
  • Staff will be available to ask questions on your behalf if you don't want to do it yourself
