database providing an opportunity for the people of Trafford
to contribute photographs and reminiscences, illustrating
both the past and present.
Low resolution images suitable for school projects are available
to download for free. Glossy high quality images can be purchased
online as you search the archive or directly from Trafford

The archive illustrates how both social and industrial developments
continually change the area we live and work in and it will
allow everyone of all ages to become directly involved in
how they see the history of Trafford unfolding.
Through photographs and personal reminiscences, the archive
will document changes as they take place and will provide
us with a valuable learning resource for the future whilst
also providing us with a unique record of the past.
Trafford Lifetimes will enable us to chart visually
the journey we have made from the former rural townships into
the cosmopolitan community that makes up the Trafford of today.
