The Trafford Unitary Development Plan Proposals Map shows where sites have been allocated for specific uses, for example residential or employment uses and where certain area-specific policies may apply, such as Green Belt.

Trafford Borough Council resolved to adopt the Proposed Adopted Trafford UDP for Development Control purposes in July 2004 subject to the deletion of Proposal TCA1(B) - Trafford Quays mixed-use site. Since that date the Council has further resolved to remove Proposal T15 - The Trafford Interchange from the Plan (24 October 2005). Please note that Further Proposed Modifications will be published in relation to these site specific allocations in the coming months. The Plan text and proposals maps can be viewed on this web page. A hard copy of the Plan text only is available for £25. If you wish to purchase a hard copy including the proposals maps this will cost £40 and these are available from the UDP Team at 1st Floor Waterside House, Sale Waterside, Sale, M33 7ZF. Cheques should be made payable to Trafford Council. Copies can also be purchased over the counter at Trafford Town Hall.

The Plan can also be inspected at Trafford libraries in Altrincham, Old Trafford, Partington, Sale, Stretford and Urmston and at the Access Trafford offices in Sale and Urmston, Partington Council offices, Old Trafford Community Centre and Trafford Town Hall.
