Our first Gender Equality Scheme shows how we are meeting the general duty on local authorities within the Equality Act 2006 to eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment and promote equality of opportunity between men and women. The Scheme sets out how we are working to ensure that there is equality between men and women at work, and in the way we deliver services.
