Promoting race relations
This scheme is part of the authority's on-going duty to meet the requirements of the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000. The Scheme sets out our commitment to promote good race relations, equality of opportunity in employment of its staff and in the ways we deliver services to the public. The Scheme also outlines how we intend to enhance community cohesion in the borough.
