its about time the people of partington Carrington and surrounding areas stand up and fight for there hospital Trafford general the birth place of the NHS the thousands of lives this hospital has saved is immense if the accident and emergency closes we this means u in the rural arrears it will mean a nail in the coffin you will have too travel many miles too the next hospital in the Manchester town centre a heart attack victim will stand very little chance during the travel time STAND UP AND FIGHT FOR YOUR HOSPITAL PLEASE NOW BECAUSE WHEN ITS GONE ITS GONE ??????????????????????

Altrincham/Timperley are less than 1.5miles away from Wythenshawe hospital! 'Trafford General' was always the wrong name for the place! Anybody in South Trafford ie Sale & Altrincham and surrounding areas would usually go to Wythenshawe already. This is perhaps the cause of the perceived lack of concern from south of the borough!!

Indeed. A few years back I required minor surgery. The surgery would normally have been undertaken at Trafford General, but my GP refered me to Wythenshawe.
Trafford General should have remained Park Hospital as it has never served the whole of trafford!! |
