Default Scam Parking Tickets - Woodheys Estate
OWNERS of hundreds of cars issued with bogus parking tickets this week are being urged by police not to pay a penny.

Crooks ticketed cars on a large swathe of Sale’s Woodheys estate sometime between 10pm and 6am on Monday night. Drivers who’d parked their vehicles partially on the pavement were the target of the scam, which police say triggered a flood of e-mails and calls on Tuesday morning from alarmed residents.

This story made it onto Sky News and the Nationals.

How odd this story wasn't taken up by Sale & Alt Messenger....

Before the trial it was reported in SAM but not after sentence was passed.
