Default Tagging

There seems to be quite a bit of tagging going on at the moment. Constables newsagents looked a real mess. Pleased to see they have painted them out today.

We can do without this kind of stuff.

I assume 'Tagging' is graffitti? Sorry, I'm showing my ignorance.

Trafford Council were good at responding to requests to cover graffiti, also BT came out quickly when their box was sprayed. I know they have been cursed with this kind of thing in Altrincham recently, they issued a picture of one suspect in the local paper, it probably just needs one resident to be vigilant and catch the idiots in the act.

Yes, GMP Alty have been pretty good at "tweeting" regarding these taggers and the particular designs that appear on a regular basis

I noticed some had appeared on the side of the old florists in the village at the back end of last week

There has been some tagging "WAA WAA 15" on the side of the old florists in the village for some months

Not sure whether it's a case of deciding who is responsible for clearing it or the fact that it isn't easily accessible (although it must be fairly accessible for the perpetrator to do the grafitti in the first place)

The side of Antz in Yer Pants often gets done but they used to be pretty good at clearing it regularly

WAA WAA also appears to have been at work in and around the Lacrosse Club

GMP do seem to take action when they catch someone but I guess it's difficult when you're not somewhere like Alty Interchange which has CCTV
