No. 11 Stagecoach Bus via Timperley Shops

Whilst the improved access for disabled people and those with prams has been applauded, there has been a lot of adverse comment locally about the recent changes in the route of the No. 11 Stagecoach Bus. People here on Broomwood Estate, in Baguley and Royal Oak often need to access the shops in Timperley by public transport, there are also many from Broomwood Estate who used to go to Timperley Health Centre who now greatly miss using the No. 11

On the return route leaving Altrincham towards Stockport many people from Timperley Village now miss a popular and easy journey to Wythenshawe Hospital. (which also has an important bus interchange )

Many local people still need the old No. 11 Bus route via Timperley Village restoring, with secure early morning and evening buses too, for those going to work in the area.

What do Councillors in Trafford and Manchester propose to do about restoring the No. 11 route and improving local public transport ?

The council aren't responsible for public transport. You need to speak to GMPTE about bus route changes, although your local councillor can probably help you out.

If I were you, I'd write to GMPTE with my concerns and send a copy to my local councillor.
