Self-service machines

Hale Library has two new self-service machines which you will find easy to use. You can use the machines to:

  • Take out items
  • Return items
  • Renew items
  • Pay library charges
  • Look at your borrower account

The self-service machines have touch screens and clear instructions on each screen. Staff will be available to provide any help needed with using the machines.

What's on

  • Storytime for under 5s is every Tuesday at 2pm
  • Rhymetime - Every Tuesday and Friday, 10:15-10:45am; sessions are free and open to all under 5's but places are limited
  • A Readers' Group meets every month
  • A Writers' Circle meets on the last Tuesday of the month at 7pm to support aspiring and published authors.

Items which are not in stock at Hale Library but are available from another Trafford library can be requested free of charge.
