Trafford Children and Young People's Service is pleased to announce the launch of a new Government-funded free early education scheme for two-year-olds.
Eligible children can apply for up to 10 hours per week of free early education at an approved provider who is part of the scheme.
Eligible groups include children in care, disabled children, teenage mums, asylum seekers and families claiming benefits such as Income Support, Jobseeker's Allowance and Child Tax Credit.
Executive Councillor Linda Blackburn said: "This funding will offer valuable support for parents whilst giving children a wonderful opportunity to develop their learning at an early age. This is all part of the council's ongoing commitment to providing the best possible support to families in Trafford."
