28 August 2012
Local residents are being urged to have their say during the next series of local Neighbourhood Forum meetings, which take place during September and early October. Each forum will start at 6pm.
The main theme of each of the meetings will be how Council Tax and Council Tax Benefit might change in April 2013. The Altrincham, Stretford, Urmston, Sale and Old Trafford forums will also include an opportunity for residents to further develop the Neighbourhood Action Plan for their area.
In addition to the Council Tax discussion, the Partington forum will also include a presentation on the SAICA paper mill.
From 6pm to 6.30pm residents will be able to register their attendance, obtain refreshments and look around several information stalls including one on the Council Tax Benefit and Planning consultations.
Following a Council Tax Benefit presentation at 6.30pm there will be opportunities for local people to ask questions about the changes and the impact these will have.
At 7.15pm until the meetings close at 8pm there will be feedback on the Trafford Partnership Neighbourhood Plan which was developed through a Neighbourhood Action Event in March 2012.
