Business Continuity Institute - The Business Continuity Institute is the professional body for people working in business continuity management. They have produced some Good Practice Guidelines which you can download for free and use to guide your planning.

Manchester Business Continuity Forum - Register to join the Manchester Business Continuity Forum. The Forum is free to join and produces an easy to read quarterly e-newsletter about business continuity, and holds regular free events and training. The Forum is aimed at organisations that operate in the City of Manchester but you can join even if you don't. The Forum has also produced templates for Business Impact Analysis and a Business Continuity Plan and guidelines on how to test business continuity arrangements.

GM Resilience - This website provides information on multi agency work that is taking place in Greater Manchester in relation to emergency planning, business continuity and risk assessment.

London Prepared - This site has lots of information and templates including a quick self assessment questionnaire that will help you see how far you have got with business continuity management and the areas that you need to work on.

UK Resilience - The Government's aim is to reduce the risk from emergencies so that people can go about their business freely and with confidence. This website exists to provide a resource for civil protection practitioners, supporting the work which goes on across the United Kingdom to improve emergency preparedness.
