Leave to remain in the UK

If you are currently being housed by the Home Office through the National Asylum Support Service (NASS), they will help you with accommodation and support until a decision is reached on your asylum application.

If you get a positive decision, contact the Housing Options Service on 0161 912 2230 so that we can start helping you find alternative accommodation, the earlier you do this the better. This helps us try find accommodation for when you have to leave where you are at the moment. We can arrange for you to have a housing options interview and go through all the options available for you and arrange for an interpreter to help if you want this.

If you get a negative decision you should speak to your support provider to check if there is anything else which can be done for you.

Unfortunately if you do not live in Trafford or have any other connection to us at the moment we will not be able to help you and you should contact your local council for help.

The most important thing you can do is to contact us as soon as possible when you have had a decision made on your application.
