Fun Palaces Day

Saturday 5 October

Come and join us for a day of free arts and science-based activities as Trafford Libraries become Fun Palaces for the day.

Fun Palaces is an annual, free, worldwide celebration of arts, science and culture which returns for its fifth year. Trafford Libraries will be joining Fun Palaces across the UK and globally and you are invited. For more information about the Fun Palaces please visit the Fun Palaces website.

Do you have a skill, talent or some specialist knowledge that you could share with the local community? Can you play ukulele, teach tai chi, sing, do junk modelling, braid hair, are you a tech whizz or a local history boffin? If the answer’s yes, we’d love to hear from you!

Fun Palaces is an annual weekend of culture created by, for and with local people and we’re looking for local individuals, community groups and businesses to get involved and share their skills for free in our libraries on Saturday 5th October.

For more information or if you'd like to get involved, please email libraries@trafford.gov.uk or ring 0161 912 3189.
