Get Online Week
Get online with Get Online Week 2016
Get Online Week 2016 runs from 17-23 October. During the week there will be thousands of events taking place in communities all across the country, showing people how the internet can make life easier, cheaper, healthier and more fun.
The 2016 campaign is the tenth Get Online Week. In the last decade almost half a million people have discovered the benefits of getting online; you or someone you know could be next.
Whether you are looking for help making better use of the internet to find work or save money, or if you would like support getting a friend or family member online there will be an event near you.
Visit the Get Online Week website to find an event near you. Alternatively you can call Trafford Libraries on 0161 912 3189 or the National Careers Service on 0800 77 1234.
Trafford Libraries will be promoting our online services throughout the week. Events will take place at individual libraries. Check Facebook and Twitter for more information.
Support to get online
Trafford library staff and volunteers are ready to help you take advantage of all the services available through our online services and the wider internet.
We can help you get to grip with your iPad, tablet, smartphone or PC. Call in at any library; staff or volunteers may be able to help you get started straightaway or can arrange a suitable time for you to come in for a longer visit. Some libraries can also help with further training and advice.
