For access to the library during School holidays customers will need access to Open+ technology.  If you require this type of access you can call in at any library, or ring our Contact Centre on 912 3189.

  • Tuesday 10am to 12pm - Craft session
  • Thursday 2pm - Story/rhyme/activity session for under 5s
  • Second Friday of the month 10.30am to 12pm - Coffee morning, all welcome  
  • First Friday of the month 4pm - Local Councillor's surgery with Councillor Mike Cordingley

Lostock Library has the following items available for loan:

For Adults

  • Popular, mainly paperback novels
  • Non-fiction books with the emphasis on recreational interest such as gardening, cookery, travel, sport and biography
  • Large print books
  • Talking Books on cassette and CD.

For 14+

  • A wide range of material chosen to appeal to this age group

For Children

  • Stories for all ages from the youngest up to 13+
  • Junior non-fiction, chosen to reflect the school curriculum
  • Talking Books.

Items which are not in stock at Lostock Library but are available from another Trafford library can be requested free of charge.
