Trafford 'gets Festive' with Free Trafford Live event

Trafford will be buzzing next month as the Trafford Partnership's fabulous, free festival event, Trafford Live, descends on Trafford Town Hall on Saturday 24 June 2017 (11am-4pm).

Celebrating the best of Trafford, there promises to be something for everyone with 10 festival zones, bouncy castle, climbing wall, live performances, Lego, storytime and crafts, sports activities, bike checks and much more.

Coinciding with national Armed Forces Day, 207 Field Hospital and 103 Royal Artillery will be joining the celebrations.

Trafford Council Leader, Sean Anstee said: "Following the horrific recent attack in Manchester, it has been heartening to see such strong community spirit shining through across Greater Manchester. This is particularly demonstrated here in Trafford, a Borough which has always shown itself to be a place with strong community cohesion and pride.

Trafford Live is another example of how strong partnership working can work to bring together communities and organisations. The day promises to offer so much and it will be fantastic to see as many people from all our communities coming together to enjoy a day of fun, activities and enjoyment."

The event has been made possible thanks to the support of many people and organisations, including Manchester Sealife, Manchester United Foundation, Legoland Discovery Centre, RSPB, IWM North, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Playfactore and Waterside Arts Centre.
