Town Hall power supply to be closed down on May 22

Urgent maintenance work needs to be carried out to the power supply at Trafford Town Hall which will affect some Council and CCG services on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

The work, which is carried out annually, is scheduled to last for eight hours on the Saturday and is essential to prevent disruption to the power supply in the future.

The Trafford Council website, emails and some phone services will not be fully available. The Trafford Control room number, 0161 912 2020, will not be working this weekend but people can use an alternative emergency number  - 0161 686 7486.

The Council's contact numbers for the HOST housing service have also changed to 07712 854 832 on Saturday and 07741 810 300 on Sunday.

Several services and Council colleagues will be affected. These include the Emergency Duty Team (EDT), the CCTV Control Room, libraries, the Waterside Arts Centre, Trafford Registrars, website users and on-call CCG staff.

All Trafford Libraries will be open as usual for customers to return, collect and borrow book but unfortunately the public computers will not be available.

Waterside Arts Centre’s website and ticketing systems will work as normal as they are not linked to the Trafford servers.
