One Trafford Response privacy statement - What do we do to ensure the security of your information?

One Trafford Response takes its obligations under the Data Protection Act very seriously. The information you provide will be subject to rigorous measures and procedures to make sure it can’t be seen, accessed or disclosed to anyone who shouldn’t see it.

All staff that can see your information will have undergone a Disclosure and Barring Service check, as well as specific training around how to handle information properly.

All staff, no matter which organisation they work for, will have to comply with Information Security policies and procedures. These set out how your information is protected, covering a range of information technology security areas.

All the laptops that are used by the staff are encrypted and will need a unique logon password and ID to be able to get onto the computer systems.

Also access to your information will be limited by the role of the person. This means if they are not the right specialist in the right team of people, they will not be able to see your information.

Each organisation that “processes” your information have responsibilities to keep their computer systems secure and take steps to stop outside malicious access. Trafford Council and Greater Manchester Police must comply with requirements specified by Central Government. The Health organisations involved have to comply with NHS Digital requirements.
