Experience a taste of the continent with a short trip to Altrincham Market.
Shaws Road and Greenwood Street will be transformed into a French-style boulevard as Brunomart's Continental Market comes to Trafford.
The event takes place on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 June from 9am-5pm.
Altrincham Market traders are looking forward to welcoming their continental counterparts and Robin Smith, who sells silver and costume jewellery at the regular Saturday market, got in the mood this week by dressing up in full French costume.
He said: "I am very happy to be given the role of ambassador for the forthcoming Continental Market and I look forward to welcoming visitors to the market on 18 and 19 June."
Brunomart's Continental Market traders offer tempting delights such as an excellent selection of cheeses, olives, charcuterie and patisserie, while you can follow your nose to the heart-warming smell of bread and pastries and crepes with gorgeous fillings like Grand Marnier and chocolate.
Also on sale are household wares such as French African Crafts, earthenware, Leather Goods, hand woven baskets and lovely costume jewellrey.
