Notification of power outage – Saturday 21 September
We will be performing some routine and unavoidable work on Saturday 21 September for approximately eight hours between 8am and 4pm.
This will cause disruption to a number of our services and sites, as follows:
Our websites and online services will be unavailable during this time. We will not be able to take online payments and you will not be able to view your accounts online.
Apart from Altrincham, Sale, Urmston and Old Trafford all of our Trafford libraries will be closed for the full day.
Altrincham, Sale and Urmston will not have WiFi, public PCs, photocopying, printing, scanning and the phone lines will be unavailable. Our library system (Spydus) will also be affected, and staff will not be able to check your account or the view the online catalogue. You will still be able to borrow and return books via our self-service kiosks, but there will be no details on the receipts.
As Old Trafford Library is based within Limelight, there will be public PCs and WiFi as well as photocopying, printing and scanning facilities should you need them (however staff will still be unable to access our online catalogue).
Coppice Library will be open for browsing, counselling services and community group activity only. They will have guest WiFi available.
Unfortunately Woodsend Library will also be closed on this day as the Open + system will be unavailable.
There will be no WiFi at Waterside Arts but the venue, galleries and Sup bar will be open as normal.
