Review of our ambitions plan and progress made.
In December we took the opportunity to review our Ambitions Plan so we could start to evidence progress made and also have a clear understanding of some of the priority areas that now need to be targeted. This was a robust review process which covered every action within the ambitions and an overview report was written for the improvement board.
Key points to highlight are:
- Significant progress has been made in our quality assurance work with increased compliance in audits and moderation and understanding our data
- Greater management grip and oversight in terms of the Ambition plan
- Development of task and finish groups within the ambitions is a positive way forward. 17 groups have been established
- Plans are being developed to work more collaboratively with the partnership as improvement isn’t just a Children’s Services issue
