Annual Canvass 2022

Each year the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) has a legal requirement to conduct an annual canvass. The aim of annual canvass is to check the completeness and accuracy of the register, carry out any necessary amendments and to identify eligible residents that are not registered and encourage them to do so.

Canvass communication will be sent out in the Trafford area between August and November this year. The information received as part of the annual canvass will be used to update the Register of Electors which will be published on 1 December 2022.
