Parks and open spaces Enclosed outdoor sports facilities are closed following the Government COVID-19 restrictions announced 4 January. This includes bowling greens and multi-use games areas (MUGAs like tennis and basketball courts). Where these facilities are gated, these will be locked and should not be used. Our parks and green spaces remain open so residents can relax and get some fresh air. This includes play areas, open skate and BMX facilities, gardens and park benches. Please follow social distancing guidelines and remember - hands, face and space. The following advice should be adhered to: Do not use park facilities including bowling greens, pets' corners, tennis courts and Multi-use Game Areas (MUGAs). These are closed until further notice. Continue to use the litter bins. We are still emptying them as normal. If you see a full litter bin, please report it. You should continue to take simple steps such as washing your hands regularly. It is important at this time for us all to follow good hygiene practices by washing our hands with soap and water often or to use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.
