Winter Personal Support Grants

Residents and business of Trafford have fundraised through the Just Giving page Trafford Crisis Fund in order to support their neighbours who are struggling as a result of Covid-19 or other adversities. Donations are being distributed through Trafford Housing Trust to local charities and community groups who are on the front line in helping people in need in our borough.  A proportion of this money has been ring-fenced for Personal Support grants over Winter.

What are Winter Personal Support Grants?

The aim of the Winter Personal Support Fund is that the fund payments will be a one-off payment that will then improve the residents' lives. This could be a payment that will either alleviate an immediate crisis, (i.e. shopping vouchers for shoes), or else improve someone’s situation long term, (i.e. the cost of a driving licence fee so that someone has proof of ID so they can apply for a job).  Please take a look at the guidance for a full list of details.
