Consultation Statement

What is the Consultation Statement?

The Consultation Statement is made up of three separate volumes:

Volume 1 (July 2008)  - Contains a summary of which bodies and persons were invited to make representations and how they were invited to make representations for the Issues and Options (July 2007) and Development Management and Core Policies consultations (November 2007). The document also contains a summary of those representations received to the Issues and Options consultations.

Volume 2 (June 2009)  - Contains a summary of which bodies and persons were invited to make representations and how they were invited to make representations on the Preferred Options (July 2008) consultation. The document also contains a summary of those representations received to the Preferred Options consultation.

Volume 3 (September 2010)  - This consultation statement is being made available during the formal period of public consultation on the Core Strategy: Publication document (September 2010). The document contains a summary of which bodies and persons were invited to make representations and how they were invited to make representations on the Further consultation on the Preferred Option (June 2009), Further Consultation on the Core Policies L2, L4, L5, W1 and R5 (November 2009) and Further Consultation on the Vision, Strategic Objectives and Delivery Strategy (March 2010).

Appendix 15 of Volume 3 of the Consultation Statement contains a summary of all the main issues that have been raised by way of all the Regulation 25 consultations since June 2007.
