Local Plan Policies Map

The Composite Policies Map shows where sites have been allocated for specific uses, for example residential or employment uses and where certain area-specific policies may apply, such as Green Belt.

This Composite Policies Map has been prepared taking account of the changes that have taken place since the adoption of the Revised Unitary Development Plan (UDP) in June 2006.

The adoption of the Core Strategy (January 2012), the Greater Manchester Joint Waste Plan (April 2012), the Greater Manchester Joint Minerals Plan (April 2013) and the Altrincham Town Centre Neighbourhood Business Plan (November 2017), resulted in changes to the UDP Policies Map.

This Composite Policies Map is for illustrative purposes only and should be read in conjunction with the individual documents. In the event of any discrepancies, the definitive policies are those set out in the individual documents.

The Composite Policies Map has been split out into a number of map grids (1 to 14). Please refer to the map grid key for reference. A separate map legend has also been prepared.
